Mary Kay

Mary Kay, by Marilyn A. & Jenna T

I was born ugly

But I’m beautiful today

I’ve learned to use Avon

And I sell that Mary Kay.

I brush on my blush on

And I smooth on my lipstick

I separate my lashes

And my hair responds to a pick.

Yes m’am, I was born ugly

But I’m beautiful today

They said I’d never find a man

But that’s where they were wrong.

I’ve moved in with Norman

And my days are filled with song.

They thought I was a downright pity,

But now they say I’m downright pretty.

Yes m’am I was born ugly

But I’m beautiful today

Yes, I was born ugly

But I’m beautiful today.

Written by Jenna and Me on a walk one night when being silly about some of the not so pretty women around town!
