We’ve invited and are honored to host our friend and hand pan musician, John Guinta, to create an evening of blissful sound exclusively for YOU. The combination of musical instruments will lift your spirits, relax your hurried energies, and allow you to experience the unifying power of music.
John is a recording artist and performer and lives in Jacksonville with his partner Elise Diagonale, a graduate from Berkley School of Music. John is also Founder of Streams of Sound Inc., a 501.c.3 non-profit operating out of Jacksonville and brings these soothing soundscapes to many businesses and industries locally and beyond. John specializes in music for relaxation, yoga, meditation and more. He primarily plays the hand pan, but also employs kalimbas, gongs, native flute, singing bowls and vibraphone in his work. (you’ll learn more about these delightful instruments at this event.)
Friends, whether this is your first introduction to hand pan and soothing healing sound instruments, or you have experienced this blissful calm in the past, we know you will be delighted to gather in this collective energy with your friends and neighbors in On Top of the World where we share our holiday expression of unity and love.
Details:
Our space is limited, so we will not be able to use yoga mats to lay down. Most will be sitting on our furniture, individual chairs, and cushions and blankets on the floor. You may also bring your own yoga pillow or blanket. If you are able to sit on the floor, there will be plenty of room for you to be comfortable. If you will definitely need a chair, let me know ahead of time and please come early enough to find your space. We will do our best to accommodate everyone.
No movement is required during this event. Only sitting and embracing the ecstasy of stillness.
